Two comma shaped feathers in the pattern of magatama. Magatama was first used as decorative jewelry, but by the end of the Kofun period functioned as ceremonial and religious objects.
The feathers on this tsuba represents Susanoo, one of the first gods of Japan.  This god was symbolized by the crow.  This pattern is often seen in Japanese crests.
